Dreams have been seen as a connection to the unconscious. They range from normal and ordinary to overly surreal and bizarre. The events in dreams are generally outside the control of the dreamer, with the exception of lucid dreaming, where the dreamer is self-aware. Dreams can at times make a creative thought occur to the person or give a sense of inspiration.

The dramas of everyday life, as well as the chaos of human existence, inspire this flight through the imagination. Reality becomes something questionable, while fantasy offers new meaning to that which we already know. Existence moves beyond the material level, raising our consciousness to an illusionary state that is so convincing that it appears real.
